Bucs add another Wilson, Agree to term with TE/H-BACK Kris Wilson
Tampa, FL - The Buccaneers have agreed to terms with free agent tight end / H-back Kris Wilson on a three year contract. Wilson (6-foot-2, 251 pounds) spent the first four years of his career with the Chiefs,after being drafted in the 2nd round (61st overall) of the 2004 Draft. Wilson played collegiality at the University of Pittsburgh. Terms of the deal are not yet known.
Wilson has seen action in 49 games with 23 starts, he has carried the football 4 times for a total of 13 yards, has had 42 receptions for 435 yards, while hauling in 4 touchdowns.
It is not clear if he will be a tight end or fullback in Gruden offense. He has made 22 starts at FB the last two season.
Wilson brings size, starting experience and a hard work ethic
to compete at either position.
